She has been babbling mamamama, dadadada, gagagaga for over 6 months. She has said mama and dada and she called her bottles babas when she had them. She has even called bananas "nanananana" when she really wants one.
But today was different.
She walked up to her ball, looked at me and pointed to her ball saying, "Ba-"
Okay, so I know ba isn't any more of a word than mama, but l's are hard...and she has been chasing her balls around the house, taking them out of Logan's mouth and saying, "ba-" ever since.
So yes, Ball or (Ba) was her first word in my book...
