Today we went to Petsmart to get Loudoun a new toy... and we came home with a Betta fish. The kids are just ecstatic about it (for now). Lauren named it Rainbow Roxy and insists it is a girl (but it is male). She couldn't wait to get "her" home and put her in her new house.
She checked on "her" all afternoon and is very conscientious about feeding her. I did catch her trying to share her pretzel with the fish though... hmmm...
Colson squeals with delight as she swims around in her little tank. He is even saying fish now.
Don't worry, Loudoun did get a new toy- which cost more than the tank, rocks, food, plant, water conditioner and fish combined.
When did dog toys become so darn expensive?!
