Olivia's house

We spent a beautiful January afternoon at Olivia's house today. The kids enjoyed the weather and Kristina and I enjoyed getting to catch up!

At some point in the airports I got tired of saying, "hurry Lauren, walk faster" or "where are you Lauren?" so when Lauren grabbed onto our rolling carry-on suitcase like this, I got over my initial objection quickly. Lauren loved to hold on and ride fast in the airport and it really helped us get through the airport quickly- plus I never had to look for her...

3M Half Marathon

6:45 am was the start of this year's 3M 1/2 Marathon and it was my first race since Colson was born and my first 1/2 Marathon since March 2010. I reached my goal of breaking 2 hours and ran the 13.1 miles in 1:59.25

Kiddie Acres

My mom enjoys taking Lauren to Kiddie Acres when we come to town. Despite the cooler weather we went and enjoyed the afternoon watching Lauren ride the pony, drive a boat, drive the play cars and ride the carousel.

Chuck E. Cheese

My mom, Tina, Lauren, Colson, and I spent some time at Chuck E. Cheese today, but it was a Saturday afternoon and it was packed! Lauren was a little overwhelmed and spent the first 10 minutes wearing her sunglasses and sitting at our table watching the chaos...When Aunt Tina arrived Lauren finally decided to go join in the fun!

Colson really enjoyed himself on the rides he could stand and hold a steering wheel!

Lauren's favorite ride was the Noah's Ark ride with all the animals inside. She got to push buttons to hear them make noise and come to life. 

She even let Colson ride with her

Lauren also enjoys riding the big horse

but she never took off her sunglasses!

My mom has this porch swing on her back deck. 

Lauren and Colson really enjoyed playing on it and swinging in it while they were there!
